We are located close to South Padre Island.. Located on the Gulf of Mexico SPI offers a variety of outdoor activities such as ocean swimming, fishing, boating, windsurfing and etc. The wide beaches are perfect for a suntan, swimming, shelling or a moonlight stroll. There are numerous restaurants for any taste. Seafood is a specialty of course!

Mexico
While there has been recent violence related to the drug cartels in Mexico along our border there are still some "safe" places to visit. Mostly Nuevo Progresso. There's shopping for all types of souvenirs including, boots, furniture, leather and pottery goods, clothes, alcohol, cigarettes, cigars and plenty more!
Licensed dentists, physicians and specialists keep their offices close to the border and offer their patients great medical care. Drug stores also offer pharmaceuticals at great prices.

Stroll through the markets while you sip an icy margarita, Corona or other beverage for prices you won't believe! Or, dine at the genuine Mexican restaurants and enjoy steak, seafood or authentic Mexican cuisine.

You will find the people of Nuevo Progresso very willing to help you out in any way they can.
